Hi everyone,

I'm starting to use more Daz content in my work and I'm running across a prevailing problem. Though I use content I still need to modify the models for my clients projects. Therefore I need cloths Daz doesn't offer. It would be great if I could create my own conforming content. Modeling isn't a problem, making the cloths move with the Daz models alludes me. Where could I go for a tutorial or has anyone successfully tackled this issue?

This is an on-going topic for a lot of people.
You can model the new clothes in Carrara or any 3D modelling app of choice. to get them to conform I believe you need to rig them with the bones of the Daz character you want them to conform too.

I haven't done any clothes modelling myself... well nothing substantial anyway but I'll look around and see if I can't find some solid answers to this one.

Seems like everyone makes skirts or t-shirts but it would be nice to see a few tut's on more complicated clothing.
I'll dig around, if i find something good I'll post it here... else I guess I'll have to make a tutorial! Cheesy

Thanks Sub7th,

It has been a dream of mine to create my very own conforming cloths. So I guess I'm not alone. What you've said so far shed some light on the problem.  I posted this dilemma on Daz also. Here is the link. I am looking through tuts suggested. I will post what I learn.

I hope you do a tutorial. Your tute style is easy to understand.
